An antique line engraving by F. Jukes after an engraving by Rev. S. Shaw. Published in "The History and Antiquities of Staffordshire" by the Rev. Stebbing Shaw. (1798 - 1802) Inscribed 'To the Right Honble. Earl of Leicester. This Plate of Tutbury Church is gratefully dedicated by his much obliged humble Servant, Stebbing Shaw.' Shows the west door, which is thought to date from c.1160-70. Left margin cropped very close to the image.
