A very rare antique line engraving 'Published as the Act directs William Pritchard, Bookseller, Caernarvon, June 1850', with later hand colouring. Llanberis Slate Quarries and Dolbadern Tower are shown in the background. Drawn by John Cambrian Rowland who was born in Lledrod, Cardiganshire in 1818. He moved to Caernarvonshire in 1851, and transposed some of his costume drawings, originally thought to have been set in Cardiganshire into a Snowdonian landscape.
