This antique sea chart was prepared by William Morris and is based on the earlier researches of his father Lewis Morris, who was employed as Searcher and Customs Officer to Beaumaris and Holyhead. He started his survey of the coast of Wales in 1737. It was published in 1800 with later hand colouring. Section of top margin removed by bookbinder. Includes free mounting on request.
