A lithographic reproduction of the map in John Cary's "New and Correct English Atlas 1787". This map was published in "Cruchley's County Atlas of England and Wales shewing all the Railways & Stations....." in 1868. Completed railways are shown to Beer, Okehampton and Kingswear with a spur to Churston Ferrers. Projected railways for Bideford to Torrington, and onwards to Holdsworthy and Stratton in Cornwall, Taunton to South Molton and Barnstable, Tiverton to Bampton and Barnstable to Ilfracombe.
