This is a rare little antique map of Sussex, together with distance table engraved by Van Langeren and published by Thomas Jenner in Mathew Simons's "A Direction for the English Traveller" in 1657. This map is the same as the one in the 1643 map except for the fact that the space beneath the maps are filled with a list of the hundreds in three columns and sometimes continued on the verso. The names of the counties and pagination are added above the plates. The list of Hundreds has been trimmed with some loss. Includes free mounting on request.
