An antique plan which was published in "Plans of Birmingham and Vicinity, Ancient and Modern" in 1884. 'The above Plans were copied, printed and several of them reduced, by order of the Public Works Committee of the Town Council of the Borough of Birmingham, from Plans in the Public Offices and others lent by several Gentlemen. Published April 1811 by John Kempson. It has the same set of Hackney Coach fares as on Kempsons 1808 town map in the bottom left hand corner. A network of new roads and the canal system around Birmingham is indicated. Outside the parish boundary, the Bear Inn on the road to Halesowen and Hagley at the Holly Bush, the Cape of Good Hope on the road to Dudley and the Custard House on Rylands Road in Edgbaston are shown.
