An antique county map of Shropshire by Blaeu entitled 'Comitatus Salopiensis, Anglice Shropshire' Circa 1650. Later coloured by hand. A highly decorative map with the title is set within a decorative cartouche which displays various produce of the county. Surrounding the map are the Royal Standard and Royal Coat of Arms, also the coats of arms of Roger Montgomery and John Talbot which is held by a cherub, another cherub stands astride the mileage grid. Wide margins.
